In Raddusch ohne Wasser? | Flussgeschichten (Raddusch without water? | River stories), artists from the fields of theater, sound and set design, as well as scientists from the Humboldt University Berlin (HU), the Technical University Berlin (TU) and the Free University Berlin (FU) explore possibilities beyond anthropocentric-storytelling to include more-than human actors, the river and all its dimensions.
This exploration transformed in a two day festival of arts and sciences and featured multimedia installations, theatre performances and audio walks in the small village of Raddusch. The installation was also part of 2023 Art-Science Forum of the Berlin Science Week as ‘Flussgeschichten | River Stories’.
Conversation with the Spree is a participatory installation that seeks to create spaces for conversations and collaborations with the Spree. Visitors can leave audio, written and drawn messages to the Spree – to gather empathy with the Spree as a non-human actor and better see her as an active stakeholder in the negotiation process for our future…
