Compañía de Garnacha (Garnacha Company) is a tribute to the “Comedians of the Language”, the first theater groups formed in the Iberian Peninsula between the 15th and 16th centuries. Precisely, its name comes from the classification that at the time was given to the groups according to the members that made it up. Thus, Garnacha is a company of 4 men and 1 woman who roam the town fairs presenting their repertoire. The group presents two Pasos, the name given to short comic pieces, starring characters from the popular classes-by one of the first Spanish playwrighters and actors, Lope de Rueda.
