Camila Ivana is a Colombian born artist, designer and performer. In her work, Camila Ivana explores how to generate emotions from the senses with non-verbal languages such as light and movement. She explores the way in which art builds community, safe spaces and interdisciplinary knowledge sharing. Her main axis of work is the body and the space it inhabits. In her creations she questions themes such as migration, home, memory and intimacy.
Since 2021, Camila Ivana has been living in Berlin, where she completed an M.A. in Scenography and Stage Space and has worked with theaters and institutions such as Schwules Museum, Ramba Zamba Theater, Staatsoper Unter den Linden, and Theater an der Parkaue.

I wanted to learn how to make spaces so that I could exist in them.
So that we can learn again how to connect and be vulnerable.
